About the Author
Lee McLean is a lifelong horsewoman, trainer and best-selling author who owns and operates Keystone Equine in Alberta, Canada.
Over a lifetime with horses, Lee has ridden, trained and competed across disciplines—from English and Western to driving and sidesaddle—and has the prizes and scars to prove it. She has taught the art of riding sidesaddle for more than thirty years and appeared at events ranging from small-town horse shows to sidesaddle racing at the Calgary Stampede.
A stroke survivor, Lee lives with her husband and dogs on the family ranch in the Alberta foothills, where she continues to ride, train and write about the horses and ponies she loves.
